Dr. Patricia LeGrand has had a distinguished forty-one year career in public education. As one of nine children, Pat grew up on a family tobacco farm. Her mother instilled in her the value of education, and she pursued her own education and that of others with a passion. She has taught at both the high school and university levels in several states
