Dorcas Green has successfully taught a wide range of students including those incarcerated by the NC Department of Youth Services as well as those in honors, Advanced Placement, and International Baccalaureate programs. She has been active in her profession and has developed innovative summer programs in science and biotechnology. In her own research, she isolated a mutant strain of T-4 which carries her initials, DG-6.
