Brenda Bass has had a successful career in public education as both a high school teacher and community college instructor.  She served in leadership roles at the school level and was recognized by her colleagues for her exemplary teaching. Brenda has researched NC Teach and Teach for America as lateral entry programs, and she continues to pursue research interests in teacher preparation. In an effort to provide teachers with strategies and protocols in an easy-to-use format, Brenda and Alison Thetford collaboratively compiled The (not so) Little Itty Bitty Book of the C.I.F. (Editions I and II) and Learner-Centered Strategies.
